LarkFest music warm up
One of the music stages at this year's LarkFest is hosting a lineup of bands from the local B3nson music collective. In anticipation of what's shaping up to be a fun day of music, the B3nson folks have released a free compilation of 17 songs.
There's a lot of good stuff in this package -- including tracks from Scientific Maps, Sgt Dunbar, We Are Jeneric, Matthew Loiacono, Beware! the Other Head of Science and a bunch of others. (Be sure to check out that new We Are Jeneric song.)
The compilation is available both as individual songs and a zip of of all the mp3s. Definitely worth the download.
The main stage lineup at LarkFest features Moby, Bell X1, Matt & Kim and Company of Thieves.
LarkFest is Saturday from 10 am to 5:30 pm.
Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

Yep, I have it on my calendar - Lark Fest - there is also a note to myself "bring snake to wrap around my neck" cause I wanna look cool.

Is there any way to tell what the band schedule is throughout the day? The offical Larkfast bands and music page is no help: http://www.albany.com/news/larkfest-bands.cfm

Lark Street?
(C'mon... the rest of you know you wanted to say that.)

Sorry for that... it's just that I get so sick of always having to be like the Cheap-Laughs. From now on let's all be like ourselves.
Anyway... Lark, from Washington Ave to Madison Ave, with all the side streets between that feed in or off it (from Willet to the West and Dove to the East) and Washington Ave from Lark to Henry Johnson.
