Peace in the Collar City
The church bells ringing in Troy on Monday won't be signaling a presidential visit. They'll be part of the Collar City's celebration of The United Nations International Day of Peace.
The celebration is organized by Troypeace.org. Church bells around the city will ring at noon and scheduled events include a labryinth, meditation, arts and crafts, kids activities and a peace walk. Also, organizers are asking people to commit an RAOK (random act of kindness) and let others know about it on their blog.
Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
