Balloons! Beer! Boats!

oktoberfest 2009 chug cropThere were a lot of fun things to do this past weekend.

Here are a few pics of the fun from Paul, Sebastien and Upstater...

Paul got up early to capture a handful of photos at this year's foggy Adirondack Balloon Festival:

The fog actually makes for some cool photos. Here are more pics from other photographers.

It looks like Sebastien (and a whole lot of other people) had a great time at the Wolff's Oktoberfest:

You gotta check out the rest of that chugging contest sequence.

And Upstater put together this slideshow of the wooden Dutch ships that were here over the weekend for the Hudson quadricentennial:

Comments

I have a few pics from Oktoberfest as well.

Yes, I feel like a local celebrity for chugging half of the boot. I have had several people email me this site, and the blog on the TU. Who knew I would be rocketed to stardom from chugging beer! I've actually had people come up to me and say, I saw your picture online, did you finish it? For the record, no. And also, for the record, I was HURTING the next day :)

The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.
