Thanks for rubbing in the fact that I had a test and had to skip the concert. He's only my absolute favorite musician (mega talented AND has a great sense of humor? Game over!).

*cries*

such an excellent show. it is good to see an entertainer that still works so hard to entertain. he seemed to have fun and i am sure the more hardcore fans like me (although...can you be a "hardcore" fan of ben folds?) were psyched about how much old stuff he played.

great great great and worth going to bed!

I can't access twitter at work to see if he posted these, but at one point he asked someone to go get his phone. "I've never had a phone that took pictures until now" - then he took shots of the audience. When his opening act, Kate Miller Heidke (http://www.katemillerheidke.com/) came to sing backup, he took some "twitter pictures" for her...having her pretend she was singing to this huge audience (us) who was on their feet for her, going crazy for her, while he took the picture from upstage. Very cool of him, and she was an amazing opener!

I was at the show too, and it was incredible! The amazing opener (Kate Miller-Heidke) started it out nicely, and Mr. Folds played everything we wanted, plus a little extra.

"He heard worse in the womb."

That kid will never forget last night.

What an amazing show! Kate Miller-Heidke was a delightful surprise as the opener and Ben Folds was as entertaining as ever! Good to know we still get some great acts through this area! Especially through the Egg, one of the best places to see a show in the capital region!

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
