Passing Fashion: Elias' coat

Your coat is great. Where is it from?
I got the coat after watching "Harold and Maude". It's from Penguin--I love that they always have an interesting lining and details in their stuff.
Kaitlin's Take
Elias's Harold and Maude reference is spectacular--it's a great example of taking something costume and finding a way to make it work in an every-day wardrobe--and exactly the kind of thing the makes up a personal style.
He's got the little details down, contrasting patterns and colors on his shirt and the coat lining, and the leather gloves which are barely noticeable but really cinch the outfit together.
No, the balloons aren't part of the outfit -- they're for a friend who is leaving town. But, hey, balloons are fun.
Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

It took me a second (a split second, mind) to realize that "Penguin" was a brand name.
That aside, it IS an awesome coat, and I'm going to check out their website for the hubs.
