Saratoga on DVD
Via Fun in Saratoga Dan comes word that The Skeptic has been released on DVD. The film was shot in Sartoga and features the Batcheller Mansion. The reviews were, uh, not good.

I think this Skeptic film also includes a scene shot on the old covered Buskirk Bridge over the Hoosic River in northern Rensselaer County.

If you've never had the chance to go over that bridge, it's a real treat. Although people drive over it like maniacs. (It's only wide enough for one car but that doesn't seem to give anyone pause).
