Winterfest photos

winterfest face painting

Lots of elves with painted faces.

Update: Sebastien's added more photos

Sebastien is posting a lot of fun pics in a photo set from Winterfest this past weekend.

The set already includes some (super cute) face painting, extreme trampolining and fire juggling. He says there's more to come.

Thanks! My first time at Winterfest, wasn't expecting much, low attendance actually; give it a shot next year :)
"He says there's more to come". Actually I'm just about done. I added the fireworks on the Capitol, a few of the 5K run, etc. I think the "cutest" photos were linked already, but here are all the individual slideshows anyway, while you sip on egg-nog: face painting, extreme (!) trampoline, fireworks, fire jugglers, a few shots from the Last Run 5K. There are a few pics of stiltwalkers, people on unicycles, the Union Station (Kiernan Planza), Savannah Outen (if you are a fan) in the mix too. And on that note, happy holidays, hope you get a camera under that tree...

Speaking of elves, any update on the gnomes Seb?

@Lola: nope, the one in Saratoga disappeared too :) BUT. We had a third one. Green pants. Dum dum dum! It's a little cold right now but I have the feeling coming Spring...

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

What's All Over Albany?

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.

Albany tightened its rules for shoveling snowy sidewalks last winter -- so how'd that work out?
