Food co-op grant
The state economic development arm announced today that the Pioneer Food Market -- the new co-op planned for Troy -- is getting a $270,000 grant. [via]

Thats awesome although I've heard rumors though that the coop is not as great as it sounds. Not exactly sure why that is but maybe this will push me to finally getting a membership which i've been putting off for a while. I think that by the time it opens though I'll be living elsewhere.
