If you've been waiting on an H1N1 shot...
Wait no longer. The state apparently now has a glut of H1N1 flu shots. There are a bunch of public clinics scheduled. And it's still probably a good idea.
Here's a list of public clinics around the Capital Region...
Albany County
Free. Open to residents. Sign up online or call 447-4505.
- January 10 - 1-4pm - Colonie Central High School
- January 20 - 3:30-7pm - Guilderland Central High School
- Weekdays through January 15 - 9am-5pm - Albany County Department of Health
Saratoga County
Free. Walk-in, no appointment.
- January 8, 15, 22, 29 - Saratoga County Public Health - 9:30am-noon and 1pm-4pm
- January 12 - Milton Community Center - 9am-3pm
Schenectady County
Free. Open to residents. Sign up required: 631-0840.
- January 8, 18 - Schenectady County Public Health
Rensselaer County
Walk-in at the Rensselaer County Department of Public Health.
- Tuesdays 2-4pm and Thursdays 9-11am
There's plenty of vaccine out there, so check with your doctor -- both about an H1N1 jab and the seasonal flu shot. You can also find a retail clinic through flu.gov.

Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

I got a shot at the free Rensselaer Coutny clinic on Monday at HVCC. It was like an immunization ghost town-- only took a New York Minute and I was done.
