What's up in the Neighborhood

The NeighborhoodAmong the topics in this most recent spin around the Capital Region's online neighborhood: trash, rents, dim sum, a sliding scale, cheap snacks, "fishy" pizza, opportunities, the Albany Institute and a porcupine.

Rob talked trash with his wife.

A Saratoga business owner commented at FiS that commercial rents in the city are too high.

Nicole went for dim sum at Shining Rainbow (and took a bunch of pictures).

Scored on a sliding scale, Daniel B had a good takeout meal.

Mr. Dave's cheap snacks series continued at Rolf's.

Leigh had an "excellent all around" anniversary meal at the Wine Bar and Bistro on Lark.

Lois says Sushi Thai is a better bet in Saratoga than Shanghai Grill.

R says something's cooking at Badass Burrito.

Robert had a "delicious" turkey platter at Scarborough's.

Kristi thought there was something fishy about her pizza at the Knotty Pine.

Daleyplanit sees opportunities around Townsend Park in Albany.

The Exiles spent what sounds like a fun day at the Albany Institute.

And Jackie was on the trail of a porcupine.

wow... is it food day in the Neighborhood?

I still have food on the brain (and in my mouth) from the holidays myself. This weather's also perfect for comfort food.

Speaking of food.... you guys need to do a review of Burger Centric on Delaware. It's the weirdest, but the burgers are good. A nice pre-Spectrum option.

(Note to self: Write more about food.)
