It was gray sweater day at AOA last Friday.

We can confirm that the rumors of AOA's upcoming second birthday are true. February's the month -- details soon to follow.

And if you've been intending to follow us on Twitter or fan us (OK, that doesn't sound right) on Facebook -- now might be a good time. You never know...

yay! nice job, mary and greg! i am loving the outfit color coordination in the photo.

Congrats to you both. Your continued work is appreciated.

See you at the 2nd Birthday Bash!

Time to bust out those party hats again!

Just cross out the 1... mark it with a 2 and...

Perfect! I'm all ready, you guys!

Congratulations on two successful years. I'm usually a "late adopter" on most everything in modern life, but this time I got hip to AOA within your first few weeks. Have learned a lot about my comminuty through you guys.

And Greg--the new haircut is still looking suave.

Congratulations to All Over Albany. That was a great article in the Times Union. I'm so happy that you've been able to mostly leave your day jobs to focus on AOA.

@chrisck: Thanks ; ) The haircut's been getting a little shaggy -- I think it's time to pick the next shop in my search for a new barber. And thanks for being an early adopter!

@Duncan, @Albany Jane, @Kevin: Party details soon! Good stuff planned.

@renee: there was a memo!

I look forward to the b-day this year, as I missed it last year.

I love that the newspaper article discusses how AOA has scooped other news media (like the TU?!) while profiling AOA., the very media that could potentially scoop the TU ..it's so..meta.

and that you guys have to show a pic of the article..because, let's face it..who reads the paper?! (besides me. I saw the article while reading the paper--at work. since we don't delivery anymore. since I get the news from other media...whoa...I'm getting dizzy)

Awesome!

Looking forward to the birthday party. Someone save me a cupcake!

Maybe I can pass AJ a note again...

Yay! Congrats guys. Upon my discovery of AOA I was a big fan immediately, because few other sites I had seen appear to share my deep love for this historic, dysfunctional and quirky region. Keep up the good work!

Congratulations on a great 2 years so far. I love checking the site every day to catch the scoop. I celebrate a birthday in February as well. Maybe we should have a combined birthday party. Keep me posted on party details. Good luck on the continued success.

@greg - your next haircut awaits you... http://www.timesunion.com/AspStories/story.asp?storyID=891095&category=&BCCode=&newsdate=1/21/2010

2 years?!?! EPIC. Here's to many more.

Thank you for two years of bettering my life in Albany. I owe you so much!

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
