Craig and his wonderful list

llamaThe good thing about Craigslist: it's a window into our fellow community members' wants, needs and aspirations. The bad thing about Craigslist: it's a window into our fellow community members' wants, needs and aspirations.

Good or bad, we'll let you decide...

A cable TV show wants to give you a free funeral for your pet -- "as small as a hamster and as large as an elephant."

So basically, this guy and his friends would like George Clooney to be their designated driver.

Another guy looking for a wingman.

She's looking for people whose friends are acting like her mom.

Just for the record: he's only interested in Disney-style happy endings.

The "coolest person in the Capital Region" is apparently a Bret Michaels look-alike.

Well, a doctor who does see you on time is very attractive...

He would like another chance to not go into "dumbell mode" with a "lithesome blonde lass."

And you thought that guy in your office was just really interested in your power point presentation.

Exactly what is it that people do with llamas? I'd be all over that ad if they were talking alpacas.

mm, llama. tempting.

Thank you so much for that. I had quite the laugh with the 'wingman' and 'Bret Michaels' posts.

But seriously, I have had mostly positive experiences with craigslist. If you're selling or buying something, once you get past the first few (dozen) spam/scam emails, there really are good people out there.

I was looking to sell one of my bicycles. This guy contacted me and said it was perfect for him. He drove all the way from Syracuse. I tried to convince him that it would be wiser to get a bike closer to home so he could test ride it without having to go so far. He was set on this being the perfect bike for him. He showed up, paid me cash, and went on his way. Nice guy too.

Once you get into the 'personals' section... Well, things get a little weird. Too weird for me.

you missed this one:
