Siena's Ronald Moore is leading Division I men's college basketball in is assists per game at 8.1. That's an assist-and-a-half more than the guy at #2 on the list, Kentucky super freshman John Wall.

Siena has also won its last 13 games, good for the longest active winning streak in all of Division I. This is in addition to winning its last 32 games on the Times Union Center court -- an undefeated streak that goes back to February 2008 (two seasons ago!) -- the #2 home-court winning streak in the country, behind only the Kansas Jayhawks at Allen Fieldhouse.
Siena plays Marist in Poughkeepsie tomorrow, which--knock on wood--should be a win, given Marist's last-place conference standing.
And then on Sunday, the Saints find out who they'll face in ESPN's BracketBuster game. I think a lot of us fans are salivating at the chance for this team to match up with Butler, a Midwestern team also undefeated in their conference.
It's a big weekend for a very special group of guys, led by "The Maestro," Ronald Moore. I hope all of Albany recognizes what we have here.
