What's up in the Neighborhood

The NeighborhoodAmong the topics in this most recent spin around the Capital Region's online neighborhood: soup, Kevin Marshall, sheep, an odd ad, side dishes, Irish pizza crust, cannoli, dog park etiquette, rest stops, a bald eagle, bargains, music lust and old New Yorkers.

Renée held her annual soup swap! And Albany Jane has a few pictures of this year's collection.

The RPInsider talked with former self-appointed lieutenant governor Kevin Marshall.

Rebecca visited a sheep farm.

Steve came across an odd ad.

Daniel B is beside himself about sides.

Mr. Dave ordered a shillelagh. It came with marinara.

R took the cannoli.

One of Mark's friends brought up the issue of dog park etiquette.

Rob would prefer that David Paterson not touch his urinal.

Jackie saw a bald eagle.

Leah scored some thrift store bargains.

B came across a Bentley in Troy.

The Exile noticed that music lust had checked in.

And Naomi had some ideas about recycling old New Yorkers. (Yes, you read that correctly. Probably.)

A soup swap? What a fabulous idea for a neighborhood party! Our suburban Capital Region neighbors hardly know each other anymore, ever since we disbanded First Friday parties, but this sounds like a great way to warm things up again.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
