This is like some sort of bizarre episode of The Office: the state inspector general has concluded that the former public information officer for the New York Lottery eavesdropped on his former bosses after being fired from his $150k job for not "teaming" with other Lottery employees. There's also a whole subplot about misappropriated leather bags. [via]

If you look at the picture of the supposed $250 leather bags you'll soon realize the real crime wasn't giving them to employees, but ordering them in the first place. They are HIDEOUS.
