Denise O'Donnell -- the state Commissioner of Criminal Justice Services (she oversees the State Police) -- resigned today because she says she was misled about State Police involvement with the handling of a domestic violence incident that allegedly involved David Johnson, one of David Paterson's top aides. From her resignation letter to the governor: "I regret to inform you that recent events make it impossible for me, in good conscience, to remain a member of your Administration." Snap.
