Hrm...Trying to make a cool $4M profit? I think it will probably sit empty for a while longer.

I think I wouldn't want my new luxury apartment 6 stories up from a busy passenger/freight rail line. The $400,000 condos at the old Moradian building are looking better and better all the time.

Does anyone remember the MELEE tag at the top of the building in 2005? http://albanyeye.blogspot.com/2005/07/writing-on-wall.html
There are three other big MELEE tags, one on the railroad retaining wall off Broadway just west of the warehouse, one off the 87-90 interchange in Colonie, and the last at the top of the Tobin's first prize factory. Any others?

If I had the money, there would be no limit to the amount I would pay for an apartment with direct rail access. It would just be the coolest thing ever.

I thought this building went on sale sometime last year? I know I remember seeing it when scoping out Albany commercial properties. It included the artist renderings for "Waterfront Square", complete with a rooftop garden!

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
