Another Chipotle

Chris Churchill reports that Chipotle is planning a new location for Wolf Road. Hmm... that's rather close to the Latham location. We would have thought the next spot for burrito bowls would have been in Guilderland, Albany or one of the Bushes.

Comments

Wolf Road is a major lunch destination for the gazillion office parks that surround it, so it seems like a smart location. Especially if the location is down near Colonie Center. I wonder how this might affect Moe's.

We need one over in the Schenectady area! Think of all the Union College kids who would go there.

Or in University Plaza on Western where the soon-to-be defunct Hollywood Video is!

Delmar please. the Tacoqueria isn't cutting it....

If this region can support four Chipotle restaurants, a Trader Joe's can't be far behind.

Just for comparison's sake, Austin has more than a dozen. And that is in a town where you can get actual Mexican food from actual Mexicans. So perhaps there can be room for even more outposts here in our future.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
