Bast Hatfield, the local construction company, says it was NOT behind the now-suspended Twitter account bearing its name on April 1. And it says it doesn't know anything about an IKEA that purportedly was being built here. (But as April's Fool's jokes go... pretty good! People would really want to believe that. Tricking people in this area into believing a trendy chain is moving in? That's just cruel. I hope suicide rates haven't shot up as a result of the April Fool's revelation.
