neil youngNeil Young is scheduled to open his solo acoustic tour May 18 at the Palace Theater. He'll reportedly be playing some of his old songs, along with new, unreleased material.

The Palace hasn't posted ticket info, yet. But the TU reports tickets will be $149.50 and $99.50.

YAYAY!

Do those tickets come with a needle full of the good stuff, cause that's a lot of damage done to my wallet.

WANT.

Is it crazy that I am considering $100 to see this guy? Probably.

If you can't wait that long, the New Santa Monica Flyers will be performing Neil's Tonight's the Night album in its entirety this Friday at Valentine's. It's part of the 4th Annual Root-A-Rama. I'm pretty sure the tickets are cheaper too.

take a look at this solo performance of "Ambulance Blues" from a coupel years back - if the whole night is something like this, it'll be money well spent : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xU5xTHN7VnI

I love the official title "Neil Young's 'you'll pay obscene prices because you're afraid I'll die soon' tour."
