lichen closeupOne of our favorite local blogs is Jackie Donnelly's "Saratoga Woods and Waterways." Every post is like a virtual walk through the woods.

Jackie's photos are beautiful. And we appreciate the way she stops to notice the tiny details -- the fuzzy violets, the underside of a columbine flower, the crack in a rock, the shape of a lichen (right).

It often feels like the world is whooshing past us. It's good to know there are still people taking a moment to take it all in.
