The Dude abides
Revolution Hall is showing The Big Lebowski Thursday at 8 pm. From the blurb: "Watch a movie. Drink great beer. Throw peanut shells on the floor. Come dressed in character and get discounted pints of Browns Pale Ale." It's $5. (No mention of specials on White Russians.) [via @mutzaroo]

I'd be careful with the draft beer at Rev Hall. Ask a manager the last time they've cleaned their tap lines. When I was there on St. Patrick's Day, the bartender I spoke with had no concern that he might be serving beer from a dirty line. Tap lines that haven't been cleaned lead to acidic buildup and possible bacterial infections.
You can't always tell a dirty tap line with all the sweet and heavy Brown's beers, but that Utica Club line is the dead giveaway.

Our local Brew & View here in DC's having a Dude Fest tomorrow, too-- complete with a costume contest, trivia, and bowling. Is May 6th a Dude holiday?
