Ban the tan?
Casey Seiler points out proposed state legislation that would ban people under the age of 18 from using tanning salons. A recent study conducted at UAlbany found that some students exhibited signs of being addicted to tanning. And as Dan Nester reported last year, they have ample opportunity.

Wow, I wasn't sure how exciting lying in a tube underneath some bulbs could be, but you've shown me the light. Sounds fascinating.

A decade ago, I remember the other girls in my gym class being incredibly excited that one of our classmates' parents had bought her her own tanning bed, and she was inviting friends over to use it.
This was roughly the same way my friends and I felt about my family's Internet connection.
