No Impact Man at the Albany Roundtable
"No Impact Man" Colin Beavan will be giving a talk at the Albany Roundtable's annual meeting Tuesday at the University Club.
As Beavan told AOA in 2008, he and his family spent a year living in Manhattan trying to avoid making any net impact on the environment. A book and film followed the experience. Beavan now heads up a nonprofit called the No Impact Project.
The talk is open to the public. Tickets are $35. It starts with a cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres at 6 pm.

Say Something!
We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

Anyone know if he's speaking anywhere else that doesn't cost $35? I loved the film and would enjoy hearing him, but prefer "No Impact" on my wallet.

I had to make quite an "impact" to earn the $35.
