TEDxAlbany, a locally organized event modeled on the popular TED conferences (you might have watched a video online), is looking for "a wide variety of speakers, authors, business people and educators to share ideas and insights that will provoke thinking and conversation." The local event is scheduled for November 4 at The Egg. The website says registration for attendees will start mid-July.
