Goose crossing

geese crossing in troy

No, honk you!

Peter sent along this pic of cars stopped along Route 40 in Troy so a gaggle of geese could cross.

It makes us smile -- the way the geese look like they're just sauntering across the road. Like one of them is telling the drivers: "You honking at me? Let me tell you about honking." (Of course, we might have felt differently if we were actually there waiting for the gaggle to cross.)

Also, geese apparently don't think much of crosswalks.

(Thanks, Peter!)

Freakin' Canadians, always acting like they own the place.

If I remember correctly, there is in fact a "Goose Crossing" sign very close to where that picture was taken. :-)

Lazy.

Newsflash: YOU CAN FLY. Try harder.

It's so discouraging when haters like B come out of the woodwork to heckle the Goose Pride Parade.

@LB: not only does he hate them, he also stuffs them with duck(en), and *eats* them! I've seen him. I was at the same table. You delicious, delicious roadk... huh creatures.

You know what, the geese have made their feelings quite clear, I think there's a mutual understanding between us.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up.
