There was nowhere near record flows at Cohoes Falls in at least the last 147 years. In 1863 there was roughly 3.5x the amount of water going over the falls than there was last week. In both 2005 and 2006 there was roughly 1.5x as much water flowing over the falls than there was last week. Regardless, it was impressive!

How exactly did the negotiations go when that jerk was trying to get the undercover cop to stab his pregnant ex?
Jerk: "I'll pay you 500 to stab her in the stomach".
Cop: "Not enough dude. You're talking about murdering an unborn child".
Jerk: "But I'm out of money and I really need this done. *looks around room* Say, what if I throw in this nifty pressure washer?"
Cop: "Hmmm. Okay. Throw in the pressure washer along with the 500 and you have yourself a deal. *handshakes* Oh, and by the way, you're under arrest."

How To Print the City Budget:
1. Type on old IBM Selectric typewriter.
2. Print copies on the mimeograph machine discarded by my elementary school in 1976.
3. Photograph each individual page.
4. Scan the photographs.
5. Upload to nifty website, sit back, and pretend that competence isn't dead.
In other words, why can't we actually read it?
