OK Go Eytan Those Darlins

Clockwise from top: OK Go, Eytan, Those Darlins.

Update: We have a winner! Congrats to karen!

_____

There's what looks like a fun show lined up this Wednesday at Northern Lights: OK Go, with Eytan & The Embassy and Those Darlins. AOA has two spots on the guest list -- and we're giving them away (perhaps to you).

So, we're having a drawing. To enter, just answer this question in the comments:

What's your favorite Halloween candy?

We'll pick one winner at random (that person will get on the list with a +1).

Doors for the show Wednesday night are at 7 pm. Tickets are $15 ahead, $17 at the door.

You probably already know a lot about OK Go -- but the two opening acts are worth checking out. Eytan & The Embassy kind of have an Elvis Costello thing going for them. One of their videos is embedded below. Those Darlins are southern-inflected garage pop/rock.

Important: You must answer the question to be eligible. You must post your comment by noon on Tuesday October 26, 2010. One entry per person. You must include a working email address (that you check regularly) with your comment. The winner will be notified by email before 5 pm on Tuesday. You must respond by 11:59 pm Tuesday.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups -- Yes

Favorite Halloween candy: Reese's PB Cups!

Candy Corns of course! However, it's not because they're particularly tasty, but because they embody the season in their colorful way.

almond m&ms!

Snickers bars!

Candy corn. I absolutely hate the taste, but something about the colors reminds me of Halloween, and somehow it always finds a way into my candy sack at the end of the night. I can't escape it.

100 Grand. It's like a milky way coated in a crunch bar.

Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins - my favorite of the special holiday shapes

Reese's peices!!!!!!

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are a definite for me!

orange candy pumpkins--pure sugar

Bottle Caps.

Chocolate covered orange flavored marshmallow pumpkins! I haven't found one yet this year. :(

Smartys are my down fall - i can't buy them until the day before halloween or they'll be gone long before the doorbell starts to ring!

Smarties

Candy Corn!

snickers dark.

Nerds -- come on baby, the pink ones were HOT!!!!

I have a real soft spot for those little Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Mallo Cups FTW, yo!

New England Confectionery Company brand "Wafers". Like sweetened chalk in your mouth(TM)!

Having grown up somewhere it is unknown, I rather like the much maligned and misunderstood candy corn. Having said that, after accidentally winning a bucket full of it last Fall, I can do without any for a while now.

I can't believe how many actually like candy corn! Eww

Any candy bar is great but especially...

Reeses cups!

Take 5's are the best!

What's your favorite Halloween candy?

That which I take from my children as "Tax".

Reeses Penaut Butter Cup! ! : )

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Reeses Fast Break :-)

Kit Kat...hands down.

candy corn

baby packs of Life Savers. Never eat them any other time of year, but for some reason, they are amazing amidst all that chocolate.

Twix.

I can't make the show. But I couldn't believe nobody has claimed them as their favorite. Reeses? I mean... I get it, sweet and savory, chocolate and peanut butter, sure. But Reeses? Blech.

Growing up without Halloween, not sure what to say, but blue M&Ms have my attention usually.

Bit O' Honey! Seriously, there's not enough Bit O' Honey these days.

Candy Corn of course. It wouldn't be Halloween without them!

100 grand. hands down.

Reese's Pieces! They remind me of E.T.

Butterfinger!

Bottle Caps! They taste like real soda!

Twix -- bite sized yumminess.

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.
