Bumper gawking

It's such a cute beast, though.

Yep, we admit it -- we like to gawk at custom license plates. And we know you do, too.

Here's a new bunch from around town...

My favorite is BIGB1LL. I see him all the time on the I-90 on-ramp.

Here is one I caught earlier this year near SUNY Albany.

Not sure how long ago I saw this, 6 months, year.... but I've seen it multiple times so they're local. Geeky but I love it.

121gwts (or something close to that)

...and no it wasn't on a DeLorean.

Love the liLbeast! I see it all the time in Center Square and I'm always jealous of its ability to park in small spaces!

I've seen MSPAINT a few times. I'm really hoping it's a reference to the venerable Microsoft Paint and not a woman who paints a lot ("Ms. Paint").

Years ago when I was working in Newburgh I saw a car with a license plate that said, "Animagus." I used to have a photo of it, but I can't seem to find it.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

What's All Over Albany?

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.
