We've been enjoying a new-ish blog about New York State politics called NT2 (which is short for a Latin phrase). The author(s) is/are anonymous, a self-described "group of professionals who love New York, but are deeply troubled by its recent direction." It's thoughtful commentary.
For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
