The week ahead
Here are a few things to keep in mind, look ahead to, or take care of this week -- from the weather (more snow), to E.T., to Afghanistan to soup.
Weather
Here's the paraphrased forecast:
Monday: Sunny, but cold. Highs in the upper 20s.
Tuesday: Cloudy. A touch warmer during the day. But things could get a bit tricky in the evening as a Noreaster moves up the coast, bringing to the region.
Wednesday: How much snow? Good question. The forecast isn't sure, yet. Could be a fair amount. Or not. Wednesday's looking "blustery."
Thursday: Snow should be finished by now. Cloudy. Highs in the upper 20s.
Friday: Some sun, but still nippy.
Weekend: Cloudy. Highs in the upper 20s.

To-do list
1. How's that snow shovel treating you? Not so well? You want to think about trading up -- you'll probably need by mid-week. Also, do you need a refill on rock salt/ice melt/whatever?
2. This is a good week to stay home and make some soup. Or maybe braise something. Or roast something. Better yet, roast a whole chicken and you can make soup from the carcass.
These are a just a few things for this week. Know of something people should be looking forward to this week? Please share!
Look for our "Stuff to do this weekend" on Friday.
Yep, the Palace does advertise on AOA.
