Thank you for the mention. Since this fiasco started, I've heard that the issue's been discussed with the staff at numerous restaurants in the Capital Region. A good thing, for sure, if this on incident prevents it from happening elsewhere in the future.

I have some pics of the Polar Plunge in Grafton as well for anyone interested.

Jackie's post is awesome. I've never heard of frazil or "ice meadows" before. There's always some nature to discover in NY, I love it.
