The Albany Devils are offering a "Pucks and Paws" promotion Saturday night: Bring your dog to the game.

For $20, you and Bowser can watch the Devils take on the Rochester Americans. Five dollars of the ticket price will go to the Mohawk & Hudson Humane Society. Any extra human companions a dog brings along can get in for $15 each.

Dogs and their owners will be seated in the upper level of the arena.

The game will be 7 p.m. Saturday at the Times Union Center. Here's more info.

The Tri-City ValleyCats run a similar promotion every year. "Bark in the Park" takes place in August; this year's date is not yet set.

this is such a great idea!! thanks for sharing, AOA!

That's actually really cool. I love bringing my dog to stuff, and anything that benefits the critters makes me happy.

OMG totally going.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
