Perhaps not the spot we'd have picked
We spotted this parking job at Crossgates Commons the other night and it made us a laugh a bit.
As Cory and Angelos pointed out on Twitter, bonus points for the donut spare on the back wheel.

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

Is the front bumper actually touching the pavement? Bra-vo.

I think it's kinda amazing that someone went to so much trouble to park their car *out* of the way. It seem like a lot of Albany's streets are plagued with cars parked on both sides of the snow banks, with barely enough room to get through.

Bonus points for going further "off road" than the explorer behind it ever has, or likely ever will.
I too applaud their very likely enthusiastic entrance to the parking spot. At very least, their adventurous nature!

To park, or not to park: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take the auto against a sea of troubles,
And by parking end them? To be towed: to drive
No more; and by a tow truck to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That the auto is heir to, 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd. To be towed, to park;
To park: perchance to shop: ay, there's the rub;
For in that tow truck what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal magneto coil,
Must give us pause: there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life...in a shopping mall.

My neighbor parks like this every day. Sometimes I think he's going to jump the snow bank and go through his living room.
(nice, Bob!)
