Thank you

aoa small box logoIt was a pleasant surprise to see that we were voted "Best Local Website (Community)" in the Metroland readers' poll out today, as well as being named in a handful of other categories.

Thank you to everyone who voted for AOA. It's an honor to know that you keep us in mind. We appreciate it. A lot.

It's great to see how many independent sites are represented in this year's poll -- Nippertown, Friday Puppy, Keep Albany Boring. It makes us proud to see the local online ecosystem growing.

Here's to a thriving neighborhood.

Well deserved - congratulations!

Congratulations AOA. Well deserved. I am not surprised.

It is well earned. Bravo for coming in first without any blatant self-promotion. I gladly would have voted for AOA had I known this poll were underway.

But being that I read AOA and not Metroland, I had no idea.

Which begs the question, perhaps there should be an AOA readers poll. Or maybe that would be a terrible idea. If AOA readers also declared that Subway was the best sandwich in the region, I may have to jump off the Kosciuszko Bridge.

Isn't it because people aren't here that All Over Albany won?

Congrats AOA team!

Congrats! Easy to digest content, interesting stories, passion for the Capital District ... was there ever any doubt?

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

What's All Over Albany?

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.
