AOA Birthday Party 3

aoa first birthday cake

The cake from our first birthday party. It tasted a lot better than it looked.

AOA is now three years old -- so we're having a birthday party! And you're invited (of course)!

We'd love to see you at the The Point in Albany on March 23 from 5:30 to 8:30 for some tasty free snacks, a bunch of fun people and... cake!

Because space is limited, we do ask that you RSVP (that part is important -- almost as important as the cake).

See you there!

I'll be returning from a work trip just in time to completely miss the party this year. Totally bummed. Someone steal me a cupcake.

I can't make it this year, but here's your annual update on AOA's development (my little dude was born the same week as AOA, making him the human equivalent in age). AOA is 99% potty trained & can fully dress itself. Its vocabulary is vast & easily understood by everyone. It can count to 30, spell its own name & ride a trike. AOA loves singing songs that it has memorized, can easily navigate an iPod and enjoys board games & puzzles. To the delight of its parents, AOA seems to be out of the terrible twos phase. However, reverse psychology is sometimes needed in order for AOA to complete a task. Some of AOA's favorite things are hugs, stories, dinosaurs, Sesame St & fish crackers.

@AOA reader -- And don't forget our fuzzy footed jammies. We're very fond of those.

Happy birthday, All Over Albany! I'm looking forward to celebrating with you.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight! Tip: I will be the one stuffing cupcakes into my pockets.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.

Albany tightened its rules for shoveling snowy sidewalks last winter -- so how'd that work out?
