"I'm very happy for them"
"Mike," the man who reportedly passed on being part of the pool of state employees that ended up winning the Mega Millions jackpot because he "wasn't feeling lucky," tells WTEN of his seven co-workers: "I'm not upset and I feel great for the seven who won ... I'm very happy for them." Reports CBS6 of another co-worker who reportedly also regularly took part in lottery pools, but not this one: "A man who answered her door only smiled and politely said Giddings would not be talking about what she's going through." Given the sad fate of most jumbo lottery winners (especially those with shared tickets), "Mike" could end up the luckiest one in the group. It would be interesting to check back in three years and see who's fared best.
