Happy or cranky?

An analysis of sentiment on Twitter by a Cambridge PhD student concludes that New York Twitter users are the 14th happiest in the US. A different study released last year concluded just the opposite -- that Twitter users here are kind of cranky. By the way: a study published in Science two years ago found that New Yorkers in general had the "lowest satisfaction with life" of any state." [via NY Mag]
