Arguing balls and strikes
The law review at Albany Law is hosting a symposium on baseball and the law next Monday. Among the panels: "A Contrarian View of Steroids: What's Wrong With Being All You Can Be?", "If You Build It, They Will Come: A Discussion On Stadium Construction", and "The Legal State Of Our National Pastimes." There are panels all day. It's open to the public and free.

Local author Doug Gladstone is on the 5:45 panel; he wrote A Bitter Cup of Coffee, a book about how more than 850 former players got hosed by Major League Baseball.
