Bright
TechCrunch had some more info today about the $400something million solar energy research consortium (PVMC) that's setting up at UAlbany's College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering. There are some big names involved. But here's the takeaway line from the article for most of us: "Years ago, the Austin-founded, now Albany-based SEMATECH did for the chip industry what PVMC aims to do for solar." Which, if successful, would make Albany a bright spot in the world of solar energy tech. [via @NMessier]
