Alive at Five starts this evening

Albany's Thursday evening summer concert series -- Alive at Five -- starts up for the season this evening. First up: 90s alternarock band Vertical Horizon. File under: "Bands that were briefly popular when you were in high school or college." Also file under: "Sounds like an episode of Felicity."

Opening this week: MIRK.

The concerts are at Albany's Riverfront Park in the Corning Preserve. The shows start at 5 pm (thus the name) and run until 8 pm (or so).
