Saratoga Springs police chief sexted from his office

Saratoga Springs police chief Christopher Cole said today in a press release that he sent an explicit picture of himself via his personal mobile from his office at city hall. Cole said there were multiple consensual exchanges, but apparently the relationship soured and the woman allegedly shared copies with a local TV station. Updated: The woman told CBS6 that she eventually had asked Cole to stop sending the photos, but she alleges he continued. [Saratogian] [Post-Star] [TU] [CBS6]

(1) its generally NOT a good idea not to send pictures of your "junk" as any relationship can sour and the recipient can become vindictive.

(2) we all have genitalia; seen one, seen 'em all.

(3) maybe it was an artistic photograph (I mean if the owner of Nite Moves can argue with a straight face that his strippers, excuse me “exotic dancers”, are engaging in the dramatic presentation of choreography, then maybe a "shepard's rod in hand" text picture could be the equivalent of "David")

(4) i think Saratoga Springs felt left out of the national spotlight and is really itching for some pre-track season attention so what could be better than their very own Weinergate.

(5) other than the picture he sent from his office, i see nothing wrong with what he did. stupid? absolutely. illegal? nope. worthy of news coverage? snore.

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
