Is same-sex marriage legal in New York, yet?

Gay marriage rally 9.jpgThat's the question everyone keeps asking. And the legislature seems to be taking forever. Seriously, if the state Senate can vote on whether corn should be the official state vegetable, you'd think they could move this issue along a little faster.

To make it easy to keep track of what's happening, we've created a single-serve site: IsSame-SexMarriageLegalinNY.com.

It gets right to the point.

You can follow it on Twitter: @SSMNewYork.

The NYS Senate should be mortified that Iowa legalized same-sex marriage before the Emprie State.

You do have to realize that making corn the state vegetable was vital. But I think they failed, they should have chosen onions so that at least we would have something to cry about other then the Senates inability to bring same-sex marriage to a vote.

@Colleen Iowa is known for being a progressive state. No reason to be mortified that they beat us to the punch, just a good reason to keep on looking forward.

JUST DO IT ALREADY!!!

I'm hearing that it will probably happen late tonight, and then everybody will hightail it out of there. It could be the wee hours of the morning.

This may have already been covered, but isn't corn a grain?
