AOA advertisers are sooo cool.

Sunshine, Popsicles, swimming pools, barbecues and other things that accompany the first full week of summer.

And by the AOA advertisers below. If you've got something to advertise, AOA is a great place to do it. Contact us at advertising@alloveralbany.com and we can get you started.

Meanwhile here's who made your AOA fix possible this week:

Stuff to live in

+ Just a few months left until the condos at 17 Chapel are ready. If downtown living appeals to you, check out their "model" in the on-site sales center.

Food and Drink

+The Wine Bar and Bistro on Lark is now offering a five course tasting menu with seatings at 6 and 9 Tuesday-Saturday. You'll need to make a reservation for those. Heads-up -- they'll be closed on Sunday and Monday for the holiday weekend, so log some weekend patio time before that.

+ The front of the dining room is now reopened at New World Bistro Bar . New World is open regular hours throughout the holiday weekend, including Monday. Treat the whole family to sustainable seafood, local produce and fresh summer specials. Patio is open for the season!

+View the fireworks from the rooftop restaurant at Taste. They've got a special 4th of July menu, and they're serving it on the rooftop with a fantastic view of the fireworks. Get your reservations today at 694-3322.

+Stop in at The Point for dinner on the patio or in the "Don Draper Room."

+ It's barbecue season! Be sure and pick up some Bilinski's chicken sausage for the grill.

+ Stop by and pick up some seasonal deliciousness at Honest Weight Food Co-op.

Helpful stuff

+ Sunmark Federal Credit Union gave $1,500 to the Radix Center-- . A Sunmark Loan could help you fund your good idea.

+ Best Cleaners gave two people a great new look this week in the AOA/Best refresh contest. To help you refresh your wardrobe, they'll pick up and deliver your dry cleaning to your home or office at no extra charge.

+ Need a lawyer? DiFabio Law Firm is friendly, helpful and will get the job done. They handle real estate, wills, elder law, vehicle and traffic law and more.

Stuff to Try
+ Jack Casey's book, The Trial of Bat Shea -- the story of a notorious 19th century murder trial in Troy -- has gone digital. Download a copy at Amazon.

+ Get $250 off your 2011 website design and development from Brayton Graphics when you mention you came from AOA!

The Scoop

For a decade All Over Albany was a place for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. It was kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who could help you find out what's up. AOA stopped publishing at the end of 2018.
