There are some interesting bits in the this Q&A with Zach Hutchins, the person behind @NYSenate, by The Capitol. During the run up to the vote on the Marriage Equality Act, the Senate's Twitter account was very active and even... helpful. Says Hutchins: "No matter how you felt about the property tax cap or rent regulations or same-sex marriage or anything, people were just happy to see that their government was responding to them."
