Bumper gawking

GOTELVIS custom license plate

Elvis is alive. And in this person's trunk.

We like to gawk at custom license plates.

And we know you do, too.

Here's a new bunch from around town...

Does "JRNLST" belong to Jordan Carleo-Evangelist? He's got a black Suby and that's so fitting.

As an owner of an Orange Element, I love the orange Element "lego car" plate. Wish I had a personalized plate. Maybe "TOASTER" or "SQUARE" but I bet these are taken...

@daleyplanit: It looks like RECTANGL is available.

I would have expected to see WIKDFAST on a Massacusetts plate.

Speaking of mass plates, I saw one last weekend: SOX NUT. I posted a picture of it on facebook and a friend responded: "I noticed two dirty meanings before I realized they are just red sox fans."

@daleyplanit:

I don't know if I should be flattered or insulted that you thought that was my ride, but -- alas -- it isn't.

Folks tend not to like reporters much, so choosing that as your vanity plate is just asking to find something unkind keyed into your quarter panel.

In fact, my vanity plates read "LUVPUGS".

OK, not really. But that would be great, right?

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

What's All Over Albany?

All Over Albany is for interested and interesting people in New York's Capital Region. In other words, it's for you. It's kind of like having a smart, savvy friend who can help you find out what's up. Oh, and our friends call us AOA.
