Hip Girl's Guide to Homemaking

Kate Payne, the author of the Hip Girl's Guide to Homemaking: Decorating, Dining, and the Gratifying Pleasures of Self-Sufficiency-on a Budget, will be at Spoon and Whisk in Clifton Park September 15 for a vegetable pickling and fermenting demonstration, and mini-food swap. The event is presented by the From Scratch Club, which hosted a local event with Payne this past May. Also: FSC also has a few fundraisers planned that are worth attention.

Ms. Payne will also be at the Wednesday Troy Farmers Market on September 14th also doing the pickling & fermenting demo with books to sell & sign. (Thank you for the link love!)
