allison oropallo thumbnailSaratoga native and St. Rose grad Allison Oropallo was the runner-up on HGTV's "Great American Handyman" reality show competition Sunday night. She has a degree in applied technology education (K-12) from St. Rose, and was back at the school today where she was apparently introduced to the media as the second most famous St. Rose grad, after Jimmy Fallon (could that really be true?). Oropallo's now a "technology engineering teacher and Legos robotic coach" at a middle school near Boston.

We thought she had it solid, and not just because of the Saratoga t-shirt!

Way to go Allison! You can teach my 9 yo daughter some of those skills anytime.

Not true. The 2nd most famous St. Rose alum is Mary Darcy.
