Caroline and Paul make delicous nuts, seeds and pesto at Our Daily Eats.

This week was brought to you by snow, zombies, some great music and a splash of wine product -- none of which you would have known about without AOA advertisers like Paul and Caroline at Our Daily Eats. In addition to unique nuts, seeds and granola, they're now producing Fresh Basil Pesto. It's all made with care in the Hudson Valley.

If you've got something to advertise, AOA is a great way to get the word out. Contact us at advertising@alloveralbany.com and we can get you started.

What a sad case. It's very difficult to find a developer with the resources, vision, and commitment to take on a costly and risky project like St. Joe's. It's a shame that the hidebound conservatism of the neighborhood stymied the first and only realistic, pragmatic, and frankly very cool, project to come along in many years. I hope the church and the neighborhood gets one more shot, although I'm not optimistic.
