TAL Raucci

steven raucci mug shot thumbnailThe This American Life episode about Steven Raucci re-aired this past weekend, which means it's available as a free download this week from TAL's site (it's only 99 cents otherwise). The entire ep -- "Petty Tyrant" -- is about Raucci, described as "a virtuoso tyrant and bully, a man who made himself feared and untouchable, in a place where no one thought to look for a tyrant." (Spoiler: that place was the Schenectady school district.) Raucci's currently serving 23 years to life.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

... We were saying at dinner tonight that Crisan isn't one of those places that is "nice for Albany." It is a place that is nice period, and we were just lucky enough to have it in Albany. I have never been to any other pastry shop with quite the selection, variety and interest, all at a reasonable price, even in the big cities.
